Price-performance incomparable!

Yay! A (reasonably) inexpensive student bar! Food is ok, but the beautiful ivy on the house facade makes up for it :)

Friendly service and great prices!

Amazing atmosphere and great food variety. Young and chatty audience. Can especially recommend Indian style „aloo“-dishes!

The restaurant is ok, you don't expect much in the area, but the toilets are very, very bad, which is a no go.

We had lunch there. The food was really tasty and there was a lot to choose from. The music was, in my opinion, a bit loud. Staff was very nice. Toilet took some getting used to. All in all, it was a good visit, we would go again.

Relaxed place for a few drinks, very nice waiting staff and door men. Location is not fancy not rough. Good beer on tap. Rest rooms could do with some refurb and cleaning.

Lovely place with a good food menu. The portion size is big and worth the price. The place appears more as a bar than a restaurant, I not call it a pub either. But definitely a place to grab food and drinks.

Although they serve different styles of cuisines (Thai, Indian, standards, pasta) it’s all so good and cheap This place is a deal! I believe they don’t do service at the table after a certain time (maybe 21h) as it’s more a bar then

Always a good place if mine just wants to go for a beer or treat yourself to a cocktail after passing the exam. The food is also highly recommended.

Oofff, fire in the hole! It was great! We tried the Indian wraps, and wow!!

Nice little pub where you can just have a coffee or cappuccino. Nice service, dogs are also welcome. During the day it is a bit dark in my opinion, but you still feel comfortable!

Beautiful student bar with good flair. Prices are okay too. During the week it can get even tighter in the evening. The only drawback: no card payment possible.

One of my favorite bars in town, local watering hole, unpretentious! When it's busy there, it's not because it is over-hyped but rather because people keep coming back!

Nice place for a beer

Hearty dish at an interesting price. We feasted! Nice atmosphere with music. The waiter speaks perfect English and is very helpful. I recommend 100%

Fantastic bar as ever. Missing a star today even though the MUTTON KORMA makes this place worth 5☆ for ever but today the CARDAMOMS were missing. What a fusspot! But I'm sure it was just an aberration... I'll test it again soon!

Expensive but nice atmosphere

Really good value lunch. Nice street seating and very delicious lamb wrap!

The breakfast was great and the service too. Only the smell in the shop and the toilets disturb the overall impression!

great beer, good drinks, nice staff and super cozy place, complemented with a really nice atmosphere. the process however aren't the cheapest in town, though it's also that more expensive than the average price of Munich.

Cool little Bar in Maxvorstadt. It is usually packed during the weekend but its very good for causal meetups. If you looking for a laid back place to meetup for drinks and some food this is a good choice. Due to the location you can easily walk to other bars in the neighbourhood

Beer bar and small bite restaurant. I like their good value for money dishes such as pasta.

Cosy bar with places to sit and stand (we were a group of 4, at the bar). Service was quick and staff was friendly. The prices are decent and the location of the bar is great, especially if you want to continue partying afterwards. Heard that it can be very very crowded during weekends. We were there on a Thursday and was full but not overfilled.

I love this place. I was living in munich and it was my go to place. After i left munich i went back to visit & i came back to this place. Service is not that great but the food is goals.

Good food and nice atmosphere

With its prime location on Schellingstrasse, Schall & Rauch is not just a cozy sidewalk cafe. At lunchtime delicious, varied and unusual dishes can be ordered from the lunch menu. The good food is fair prices. In the evening you can sometimes mum or displace everyday life with friends and a lot of mood. As a nightclub as well geeigent.
